Pricing bait & switch or just incompetence? Doesn't really matter because it's the consumer who loses either way. Within the past month I've twice discovered that the store left up sale signs for prices or promos on water that were long since expired. Customers like me load up their shopping cart for the good deals and then at checkout get charged a higher price. When this happened in May, it took multiple trips to the customer service desk to even find someone to talk to and then, rather than honor the advertised price, she just put my items back on the shelf. During a similar incident today a different customer service representative likewise didn't seem bothered by it. Overcharging multiple customers for weeks at a time has to be very lucrative, whether intentional or not.

It is very nice and clean place. You can buy Starbucks coffee here. You can save more with Kroger shopper's card. All Vegetables are fresh. A good shopping spot for all groceries.

My visit to Kroger tonight. Well the shopping part, walking up and down the aisles with my beautiful fiancee Christine finding the produce and the products that we were needing at home was perfectly fine, so I give it a five star as far as the quality of food. When we went to check out, Sonya started ringing us up and when she got to the grapes she rang it up nine times taking our bill from $64 to $111.00. She tried repeatedly to take off the extra charges and could not accomplish this task. Also she placed our produce and products on the Lazy Susan bagging area instead of placing our groceries in the bags, so I started bagging our groceries. She kept reaching over spinning it as I'm bagging. The first time my pinky got caught in the bag holder and twisted it, so I asked her, "please stop spinning the bagging station." But did she stop spinning the bagging station, of course not! I guess she had a nervous habit of spinning it and as I'm grabbing another bag putting product into the bag she spins it yet again making contact with my right hand ring finger which is currently injured and hyper-extending it yet again. This time I was a bit more stern, "ma'am please quit spinning the bagging station!!!!" She replied with sorry sir with absolutely no remorse in her voice whatsoever. As my fiance and I were leaving the store I looked over at her and ask her, "are you okay?" She was so pissed off and upset she refused to answer me. We got to the truck and I let my fiancee in the truck to sit down as I unloaded the buggy. I got in the truck and asked her again if she was okay and she still was so frustrated she couldn't speak.

A great place to shop. Great customer service and there is always something in sale.

Kroger is always my place to shop for groceries. WALLY MART might have a better selection and slightly lower prices but the customer satisfaction is just not up to par compared to Kroger. Their employees actually like working there.
